BitFlyer completes acquisition of FTX Japan and considers crypto-asset ETF services
Japanese exchange BitFlyer announced that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of FTX Japan's outstanding shares, making FTX Japan a wholly owned subsidiary. FTX Japan will develop a new cryptocurrency custody business under bitFlyer Holdings. In addition, BitFlyer also said that in the future, once the Japanese legal system is in place, it plans to provide services related to cryptoasset spot ETFs.
